Financial Obligation

ALTERNATIVE SCHOOL FEES: 

The purpose of these fees is to defray non-instructional cost incurred by advancing Christian worldview such as: Teaching for Transformation, integrating alternative outcomes within Alberta curriculum, formational learning experiences and school culture.

Gateway Christian School (GCS) fee structure:

2019/2020 school year alternative fees are set at High School (Gr. 9 – 12) $200.00 per student per year: Gr. 1 – 8: $300 per student per year and Kindergarten: $200.00 per student per year.

OPTION FEE: (If applicable)

Gr. 6 - 8:  Junior High Band Rental/Maintenance: $100

Gr. 4 Recorders: $8

OTHER FEES:

Sports Teams - Hockey: $150 

Senior Basketball & Senior Volleyball: $65.00 (Paid at time of playing sport)

Activity Fees:

Gr. 6 Survival Trip - $20

Gr. 8 Retreat - $40

Gym Strip (strongly recommended for Grades 4 – 9) Shorts - $ 20; T-Shirts - $ 20

Yearbook (optional) $25, after May 31- $30

Payment of alternative school fees may be made as a lump sum at the beginning of the school year; or by means of post-dated cheques over a ten month period. Option fees are due the beginning of each term. Payment options: cash, cheque(s), Visa, MC, Debit or online. Please make cheques payable to Red Deer Public Schools.
